When you visit this website

The website is hosted at Amazon Web Services and delivered through the Amazon CloudFront network. The provider is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. The files of the website are stored in Frankfurt am Main (AWS region eu-central-1).

So that the page appears in your browser, the server processes technically necessary information:

  • the IP address of your device
  • date and time of the request
  • the page requested and the amount of data transferred
  • browser, operating system and the page visited before, where your browser transmits it

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not keep access logs: logging is switched off both in CloudFront and in the storage (Amazon S3). We therefore store no access data and do not evaluate it.

CloudFront delivers content through delivery locations in Europe and North America, that is, also outside the EU. Amazon is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission also apply.

No cookies, no visitor tracking

We do not use cookies or advertising tools, or load content from external servers. Fonts are also hosted on our own server. If this changes, we will update this notice beforehand.

We count page views without cookies or personal data (page, referral source, country, device). For each view, we record the page visited, the language, the domain of the referring page (including any utm parameters in the link), the country and the device type (mobile or desktop). We also record certain events, such as when a Quick Check is started or an enquiry is sent. For enquiries, we record only the subject, never the message text. We do not store IP addresses, browser identifiers, names or messages, and we cannot recognise visitors across multiple visits or over several days. The country is determined from the IP address by the network, but the address itself is not stored. The count data is held by Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt am Main (AWS region eu-central-1) and automatically deleted after 400 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you write to us through the contact form

We process the details you enter: name, company, email address and your message. We use them solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a proposal.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box in the form, and the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email to us.

Transmission of the form: when you send it, your message goes over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a function at Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt am Main (AWS region eu-central-1). It sends the details as an email to our mailbox using the email service Amazon SES, also in eu-central-1. This mailbox is operated through iCloud Mail (see below). Amazon processes the data on our behalf in the process.

We do not store your message on the website itself: there is no database of enquiries, only the email in our mailbox. We do not send an automatic confirmation to your address.

To protect against spam, the function counts submissions per connection. For this we form an irreversible numerical value from your IP address, which changes every hour and is deleted automatically after two hours at the latest. We do not store the IP address itself. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form from misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you write to us by email

We process your email address and the content of your message in order to reply to you. Our mailbox is operated through iCloud Mail, the provider being Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland.

How long we store data

We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with and there is no statutory retention obligation. If an order results, the retention periods under company and tax law apply, as a rule seven years.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of the processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. You can withdraw consent that you have given at any time with effect for the future. Simply write to contact@ll-synergy.com.

If you believe that we are not processing your data lawfully, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
