Custom software development Software for what standard programs do not cover.

When spreadsheets that have grown over the years and standard software are no longer enough, we develop custom software, web apps and platforms for your company. We start with the core and build in stages, with AI where it helps.

Free, no strings attached. If you like, with a written assessment of your project.

Two typical starting points

  • Companies: replacing Excel, old databases and isolated solutions

An important process depends on spreadsheets that have grown over the years, on an old database or on a program that nobody maintains any more. We turn it into an application that several people can use at the same time and securely: with permissions, history, reports and connections to your other programs. We migrate your existing data.

  • Founders and new business ideas: the MVP

MVP stands for minimum viable product, the first version of a product with exactly the functions needed to test an idea in the market. Nothing more. This way you see early on what your customers really use, and invest in expansion only afterwards. The same applies to new digital offerings from established companies.

If a good ready-made program exists for your task, we will tell you. Custom software pays off where your process or your idea sets you apart from others.

What we develop

  • Web apps and specialist applications for office, engineering and administration that run in the browser without installation.
  • Platforms and portals with user accounts, roles and permissions, for customers, partners or suppliers.
  • Interfaces and data synchronisation between ERP, accounting, customer management and other programs.
  • AI functions that read documents, write drafts or analyse data, as described on our page about process automation with AI.
  • Apps for iPhone and Android when your team or your customers work on the move. More: app development.

Principles How a software project stays under control.

The biggest risks of custom software are an unclear scope and a result that nobody has tried out. Our approach is built around that.

  1. Click first, then develop

Before we develop, you see the most important screens as a clickable prototype. Your team or your first customers try it out, and misunderstandings come to light while they still cost nothing.

  2. The core first

The first stage contains the one process that it is really about. Everything else comes afterwards, based on real experience instead of assumptions.

  3. In stages, each with a usable result

After every stage there is a version that can be used. You decide continuously what comes next.

  4. Security from the start

Roles and permissions, encrypted connections, regular backups and servers in the EU wherever possible.

  5. Documented

Code and processes are documented so that your software does not depend on a single person.

  6. Support after launch

Software lives on: updates, extensions and adjustments when your business changes. On request with a support agreement over several years.

These principles apply to every software project, whether a specialist application in a mid-sized company or the first version of a business idea.

Get in touch

From the idea to running software

  1. Step 1: Your message

You tell us what the software should achieve and who will work with it. A rough idea is enough. We get in touch with you personally.

What you do: write to us. You do not need a requirements specification.

  2. Step 2: Clarification and proposal

We clarify goals, users and core functions and look at what you work with today. After that you receive a written proposal with scope, stages and schedule.

What you do: tell us about your situation and decide.

  3. Step 3: Clickable prototype

The most important screens as a prototype to try out, in the browser and on your phone.

What you do: try it out and give feedback.

  4. Step 4: Development in stages

We develop the core first. After every stage you see a usable version.

What you do: test and approve.

  5. Step 5: Launch and support

We put the software into operation, migrate existing data and accompany the first weeks. On request we then look after it permanently.

What you do: use it in daily work.

What you bring

  • A problem or an idea. What is tedious today or what does not exist yet. We work out the requirements together.
  • The people who will work with it. Your team or, for a new product, a few future customers who try out the prototypes.
  • One person who decides. Someone who sets priorities and approves stages.

Frequently asked questions about software development

Custom or standard software: what suits us?

If a good ready-made program exists for your task, that is usually the better choice, and we will tell you. Custom software pays off if your process sets you apart from others, if several programs have to work together or if you want to offer a product of your own.

Do we need a requirements specification?

No. A description in your own words is enough. We work out the requirements together, and the clickable prototype shows early on whether everyone means the same thing.

What does custom software cost?

That depends on the scope, the number of user groups and which programs are connected. A price list would therefore tell you little. Before we begin, you receive a written proposal with a clearly described scope and stages. Without your approval, no costs arise.

How long does it take to develop an MVP?

That depends on how small the core can be kept. That is exactly the strength of an MVP: we limit the first version to what tests your idea. You will find the schedule in the written proposal.

Who owns the software in the end?

We settle the rights to software and code in writing in the proposal beforehand, so that you know before the start what belongs to you.

Is our idea safe with you?

What you tell us about your company or your idea, we treat as confidential and use only for your project.

Where is the data stored?

Wherever possible on servers in the EU. Which services are involved and which data they see is stated in writing before the start. You receive a data processing agreement, as the GDPR requires.

Where do you work?

Our office is in Vienna, and our projects run across the whole European Union. We work in German and English.

Tell us what your software should do.

A rough idea is enough. We will reply personally, free of charge and without obligation.
